To top off your already bad week in gaming news, prepare to be in disbelief at the outrageous price Infinity Ward are asking XBL members to pay for their upcoming DLC release "Stimulus."

For just THREE new maps, along with two of the more unpopular maps from CoD4 (Overgrown and Crash), IW are demanding 1200MSP. This equates to $15.99 USD, $19.99 AUD or £10.99 if you're English.

This is probably one of the most overpriced peices of downloadable content I have ever seen. I have to ask myself, is there anything that Infinity Ward can do to make me have less respect for them? No, probably not..... Unless Robert Bowling demanded a handjob from each of the people willing to download the DLC......

Seriously though, $15.99???
Comment below on whether or not you think this is a pile of bullshit.

Cake is a lie
It's not that bad, I payed £7.99 each for the WaW map packs and they had 3 multiplayer maps. This map pack has 5 maps for £10.99 so basically it's an extra 2 classic maps for £3

I don't think it's overpriced. It's only $15 for 5 maps, $3 a map.

Well they can count on me not getting it. Crash and Overgrown? Crash is better than Overgrown, but WHY those two? Horrible choice.

Well no matter. I'll just invest my money into BFBC2, Avatars, Themes, and Uncharted 2 DLC. IW has gotten enough of money.

So does this mean that we are not getting the new Spec Ops, titles, emblems, perks, and weapons?

Also since its more than just maps it is fine in my opinion. It would be nice to see a lower price, but remember what you are getting with this content pack:
-New challenges + titles/emblems
-20 New Spec Ops missions
-3 New Guns
-3 New Perks
-5 New Maps
(Note by 'New' I mean new to CoSad Awesome MW2)

Previous Map Packs in the CoD series went for $10 for 3 new maps. This DLC Pack comes with 5 New Maps to CoD MW2 plus many other additions, which is well worth an additional $5. If it was $20 they would be pushing it. Smile

I don't think we're getting NEW SPEC OPS levels, let alone 20 new ones...
