To top off your already bad week in gaming news, prepare to be in disbelief at the outrageous price Infinity Ward are asking XBL members to pay for their upcoming DLC release "Stimulus."

For just THREE new maps, along with two of the more unpopular maps from CoD4 (Overgrown and Crash), IW are demanding 1200MSP. This equates to $15.99 USD, $19.99 AUD or £10.99 if you're English.

This is probably one of the most overpriced peices of downloadable content I have ever seen. I have to ask myself, is there anything that Infinity Ward can do to make me have less respect for them? No, probably not..... Unless Robert Bowling demanded a handjob from each of the people willing to download the DLC......

Seriously though, $15.99???
Comment below on whether or not you think this is a pile of bullshit.

Do a barrel roll!
OVERGROWN? CRASH? YEAH!!! THOSE WERE MY FAVORITE MAPS!!!! But, i gotta agree it should be 2 bucks per map.

crash 2$
overgrown 2$

3 more maps 6$

so that should equal to 10$. but guys you should think about world at war. we got three maps and a zombie one which is sort of accounted for as a mission. so idk.

Man they should at least lower the price. Sheesh new maps should be free, and then everyone can enjoy it. Why not price updates while you're at it.

well they usually have updates for things they did wrong, so you are saying they should make us pay for their mistakes? i really dont get why everyone is complaining. you get 5 maps, new game modes, more spec ops. thats more than what you got in WaW, even though Nazi Zombies was still the main reason people bought the map packs.

Whoa whoa whoa, I am not complaining. I am making a statement. But really dude, in online games such as combat arms you don't pay for new stuff. And they're still keepin people playing the game. Well yeah I know it's their source of money since thousands of players play the game, but really, my friend is always sayin "You guys are lucky, I don't get to buy PSN Cards and I can't play the new maps!" I feel sorry for people who can't buy it. Dude, don't say it's cheap to buy it, some parents don't let their kids buy the PSN card.

well, if you have parents who won't let their kids buy PSN cards, then they probably shouldn't play Modern Warfare 2 in the first place, and saying that $2 for a new map is expensive? thats not expensive at all if you think about how long it may have taken to make it.

why dont u just gameshare with your friend for the map pack then if he cant buy PSN cards.

1. I don't know how to do that thing.
2. Dude, some people barely even had enough money to buy MW2 and a PS3.
3. Why do you think $20 isn't expensive? Geez dude this is going to turn into an argument and you're going to reply again, so w/e. Dude, don't be biased and think everyone can buy a PSN Card anytime they want.

i never said that anyone can buy a PSN card whenever they want, but if they want to be able to play the newest maps that took the developers time to make, then they should not get that for free unless the developer chooses to give it away for free. yeah it sucks when a friend or someone can't buy the map pack, but don't criticize the developers for charging a fair price for something they put time and effort into. in a perfect world, everything would be free but its not a perfect world.

im not trying to be a total dick to you, but i am sick of listening to so many people complain about the price that IW is charging for their map pack compared to the WaW one.
