People may say this gun is very nooby but there are downsides to it,
These Include:

-Slower Running
-Slower Firing
-Limited View (Aiming down Irons)
-Quick to run low on Ammo
-Slow Reload


But there are a lot more upsides...
These Include:

-Incredable Fire Power
-Good Accuracy

Weighing it out over a long battle the assault and engineers will over power the M60's when they need to reload and if the Assault or Engineers and get close and under there barrel if there on a hill there is no chance of the M60 being able to see the soldier creepy up on them from right under there nose.

Now what does everyone else think?

I like to use it only because I enjoy being medic and reviving teammates. BTW add me on PSN: HSx9

-Slow Running, youre using a Gun not a Knife so this doesn't matter, LMGs are better for supporting youre team from mid-range too.

-Slow firing, its high damage makes up for it, 3-4 hit kill with Magnum.

-Limited view, x4 Scope or Red Dot.

-Quickly out of ammo, Press select while looking at a friendly Assault, it should say "I need Ammo!"

-Slow reload, hide behind a rock.

I get annoyed when i get M60 sniped but i use 40MM Smokes now. shoot a Smoke and hopefully the M60 guy wont see me LOL.

hang on are u defendin the M60 or attacking it lol, it really doesnt bother me i just want to know other peoples view on the weapon as i hear a lot of crying on the game

Im doing both, its not massively overpowered. if youre good enough a M60er will be a minor problem.

It just needs more recoil in my opinion,

I used it when i had it but XM8 LMG with Magnum is 10x better too many people use the M60 and once you unlock the last LMG the MG3 you'll see how much better it is.

The way i see it there's always going to be one gun EVERYONE uses and is slightly OP. e.g. MP40 on WaW, UMP on MW2 etc. Its just one of those things with popular FPS'. If it is SO OP and good why not use it? less complainin' more killin'

im not bothered by it im just seeing what other feel about the M60, its easy to take a man down that has it, i just put up the downsides and upsides i thought it had...

wow i love the ump45 myself i think its the most powerful

870 Combat with Magnum Ammuntion is pretty good aswell.
