According to an inside source speaking to Kotaku, the studio behind Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward will 'continue to crumble' after the huge scandal surrounding it's feud with publisher Activision in the wake of the most successful game of the year.
After the news that former employees Jason West and Vince Zampella were to start their own company, Respawn Entertainment, many IW developers have followed in their footsteps, leaving the company.
Sad news for a truly great set of developers, it just shows you that even developing one of the most successful videogames of all time can't hold together a business partnership these days.

dang this really suxs wouldnt we gt a second map pack but activision would make it if so it wouldnt be as good as if IW wouldve made it and keep up the good work caspa

Life goes on, Respawn Entertainment will give us a Epic game to make up for all this, Hmmmmm I see it now Respawns First Game launtch Will break MW2 Records!!!!!!

I feel Infinity Ward has gotten what it deserves as a developer. According to Activision, Infinity Ward didn't keep their word, and when such a popular developer does not keep their word, I don't feel they deserve to be as successful as they are.
It is without any doubt that Infinity Ward was a great developer, and that they made quite an impact on the multiplayer FPS gaming community, but I think it's time for other developers to shine, and for the natural cycle to occur with Infinity Ward as it eventually does with all developers.
