According to an inside source speaking to Kotaku, the studio behind Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward will 'continue to crumble' after the huge scandal surrounding it's feud with publisher Activision in the wake of the most successful game of the year.
After the news that former employees Jason West and Vince Zampella were to start their own company, Respawn Entertainment, many IW developers have followed in their footsteps, leaving the company.
Sad news for a truly great set of developers, it just shows you that even developing one of the most successful videogames of all time can't hold together a business partnership these days.

who cares anyways they did a bad work with mw2 i mean 2 months and it got hacked,like and infinity of glitches that was going to happen anyways there are better games out there o r more stuff out there if you cant live without a cod game then you reallly dont have a life

so bascially IW is going to end up with a new name (Respawn Entertainment) but under EA not Activision fine. They wont have call of duty as the anem but can make something completley new

People shouldnt panic. Infinity Ward broke up before and went on to become a better company, back then they were called "2015" and changed there name to "Infinity Ward" (obviously).
Its just progress. With all the money from Mw2 and CoD4 they willl probably be able to not only develop but WILL BE ABLE TO PUBLISH their own games, giving them the freedom to do whatever the hell they want. They wont have Activision breathing down their necks, and WILL make better..... much better games!

Which is really sad and pathetic, most gamers don't really care about such things or issues.
Personally i took back two games I had made by 2k because of their crappy dealings in terms of calling a key to unlock what was already on the game disc "DLC" that kind of shit is horrible.
It's a pitty most gamers either don't care or are just to ignorant to know better. This just means that Activision will continue to **** us over. I mean Treyarch released 3 map packs that were a great value at 10USD for a zombie map, and 3 new maps, while MW2 realeased a MP with 3 new maps and 2 old maps for 15USD which is a rip off altogether. This means that the likelihood of zombie maps for COD7 will end up being 20USD because Activision knows they can get away with ripping off the fan base of the COD series.

they probably already made the second map pack they dont stop working and then start again when they want to make a map pack they make all the dlc wen making the game
