According to an inside source speaking to Kotaku, the studio behind Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward will 'continue to crumble' after the huge scandal surrounding it's feud with publisher Activision in the wake of the most successful game of the year.
After the news that former employees Jason West and Vince Zampella were to start their own company, Respawn Entertainment, many IW developers have followed in their footsteps, leaving the company.
Sad news for a truly great set of developers, it just shows you that even developing one of the most successful videogames of all time can't hold together a business partnership these days.

its kinda sad cause these guys created the 2 most well known FPS at this time (COD4, MW2) and too see it crumble is a shame really and its annoying how its cause of money etc. anyways businesses fail and move on so hopefully we will see good stuff from new companies

Very possible that there would be no second map pack, but since they already have the first they SHOULD release it. On a different note, I hope Respawn will turn out a great game in the future. It sucks that these developers who put alot of time into the biggest game launch ever aren't recieving their deserved money.
