Still unofficial, the Playstation Phone should be released next spring says reports from Japanese newspaper the Asahi Shimbun.
According the the report the phone could go on sale first in the U.S. and Europe. It is supposed to be based on and have similar controls to the PSPgo. But instead of analog thumb numbs, there is going to be a new touch-sensitive tracking pad. It will no longer have UMD and Memory Sticks.
The Playstation Phone is rumored to be similar to the Google's Android 3.0 platform and have a custom Sony Marketplace which will have all sorts of apps and game.

In the picture it says insert sim card the only phone carriers in the us that support a removable sim card are AT&T Wireless (formerly Cingular Wireless)
Centennial wireless
T-Mobile
So if this picture is correct it will be one of these and if like the iphone you will be able to unlock it to work on T-Mobile and AT&T

Not sure whether to get the PSP2 or this. I hate having more than one portable electronic device on me at once, but I might be missing out on PSP2 games. >.>
