New PlayStation Phone Coming Next Spring

Still unofficial, the Playstation Phone should be released next spring says reports from Japanese newspaper the Asahi Shimbun.

According the the report the phone could go on sale first in the U.S. and Europe. It is supposed to be based on and have similar controls to the PSPgo. But instead of analog thumb numbs, there is going to be a new touch-sensitive tracking pad. It will no longer have UMD and Memory Sticks.

The Playstation Phone is rumored to be similar to the Google's Android 3.0 platform and have a custom Sony Marketplace which will have all sorts of apps and game.

This phone sounds cool. Pretty sure KaKaRoTo or Geohot will hack it :evil:

I still don't think it will be anywhere near as good as the iphone4 (and no5 is on its way soon)

hahaha i reckon it will be okay nothing on the major phones like BB and the iphones tho

Android has shiz battery life.. and playing games will kill it. That's gunna be a bulky machine IMO

Reckon it will be a big disappointment to be honest should have the 1.2 GHz processor:derp:

I read about this a while back, if it is confirmed I think it will be a smart phone, not sure whether it will be good or not lol.
