IW admit MW2 and CoD Hacks But Blame PS3's Lack of Security

Infinity Ward has finally admit that Mw2 and COD4 are hacked, but they believe that it's more Sony's fault as their machine that has had its security breached isn't looking like it's going to be patched for now.

Robert Bowling the community manager, aka Fourzerotwo, released this statement on the matter.

"Sony has recently acknowledged a breach in security on the PS3 which resulted in games to become exposed to exploits and hacks. Modern Warfare 2 is no exception to this security exploit and we understand that some of you have experienced problems with stats and other issues associated with this.

Games rely on the security of the encryption on the platforms they're played on, therefore; updates to the game through patches will not resolve this problem, unless the security exploit itself is resolved on the platform. Regretfully, Call of Duty games are receiving the bulk of the hacker's attention, due to its high player counts and popularity. However, the number of legitimate players severely outweighs the bad apples.

If you are concerned about playing with players who are hacking, I encourage you to play exclusively with friends by utilizing the party or private match options in Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty 4 to avoid such players as much as possible until this issue is resolved by Sony.

At this time, we do not have the ability to restore or adjust individual stats.

Let me assure you, while we are very reliant on Sony updating their firmware and security to address the core problem of this issue. We are looking at EVERY option available to us to help any user affected.

This only applies to legacy games such as Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2. In the future we plan to adjust our approach to not rely solely on platform security and reduce the ability for this to happen in our games, as has already been displayed by the work Treyarch has done on Call of Duty: Black Ops to prevent similar measures."

Guys I think i know the root of this problem. A while ago, I jizzed on my Call of Duty disk and loaded it into my xbox, just to see what would happen. And after that day, all of this shit has been happening.
I apologize for my mega-jizz, as it is surely the mastermind behind all of these security breaches.

If it wasnt for the jailbreak Mw2 would not be dead for a long time. People are beggining to hate Black Ops so they will go back to other games. I know im done trying to play a CoD that you can't even use a sniper in. I will be on Mw2 for the next few months. But i'll be on Xbox where you can still play in legit games 99% of the time.

Its InfinityWards fault for not putting enough walls of encryption, Black Ops has 2 walls of encryption for ps3 and it has been the hardest CoD yet to hack. The lack of security has nothing to do with this

So wait they blame the PS3 that was hacked in 2011 for problems on a game brought out in 2009 and finished in November 2010, but they don't mention the XBOX 360 which has been hacked since 2006 right, and people wonder why PS3 people hate the XBOX 360, this is just bollocks if IW carnt even be bothered to encrypt the code and if I rember correctly the XBOX is know for the shot security, you can go F@*% your self IW, I think I hear bill gates caing for you in his bedroom, seriously IW has F@*% more young people than the catholic church....

Ps from a hardware stand point the PS3 is better.
