IW admit MW2 and CoD Hacks But Blame PS3's Lack of Security
Infinity Ward has finally admit that Mw2 and COD4 are hacked, but they believe that it's more Sony's fault as their machine that has had its security breached isn't looking like it's going to be patched for now.
Robert Bowling the community manager, aka Fourzerotwo, released this statement on the matter.

Let me assure you, while we are very reliant on Sony updating their firmware and security to address the core problem of this issue. We are looking at EVERY option available to us to help any user affected.

In the future we plan to adjust our approach to not rely solely on platform security and reduce the ability for this to happen in our games, as has already been displayed by the work Treyarch has done on Call of Duty: Black Ops to prevent similar measures."

I know im done trying to play a CoD that you can't even use a sniper in. I will be on Mw2 for the next few months. But i'll be on Xbox where you can still play in legit games 99% of the time.
Hah same reason i quit black ops, u cant use a sniper in it well. :p

Lets see THEY(as in IW) built the fastfile and they chose how it would be crtyped and compressed. Look Treyarch did a better job as so far BO is good in the terms of exploits for the PS3. Its their fault we didn't have to work our donk's off to cheat a game.

all IW need to do is encrypt their fastfiles similar to Black Ops have. I miss being able to play COD4 or MW2 legit

Lmao. They admit [FINALLY] that the game is hacked, they blame Sony and their PS3 for it, they cannot patch it, and basically say oh well, Sony this is your fault.
That gives them cool points in book. Honestly I'd expect them to say the same about the 360, if it were as big a problem.
