I'd have to go with San Andreas because it had my favorite protagonist, it had my favorite weapons, it had my favorite vehicles, CUSTOMIZATION, i liked the story, you felt accomplished at the end, fun side quests, and of course NOSTALGIA.

San Andreas due to it being all something new and different at the time

GTA San Andreas was the best for me. You can almost do anything. From shopping, to betting, to hitting the gym. lol.

Vice City - no comment ;p

SAN ANDREAS.... it was like a game-funn-play revollution... The story was long, the city great and very big, airplanes, helis, bikes, go-carts almost everything and you could buy houses, bet on horses xD, do shit, swimm It just was a genius game during its time...

Of course GTA4 is much better if you compare it nowadays, but for the time around 2004 or when it came out.... it was like heaven to play the game :D LOVE*

GTA:SA is the best one in my opinion number four is alright

San andreas , mostly for the bmx's , but it was a good classic game , i want the new gta to be like san andreas !

Loved all GTAs but the best one is SanAndreas.

GTA Vice City = 2 Times
GTA LCS = 3 Times
GTA VCS = 1 Time
GTA IV = 3 Times
GTA CW = 1 Time

I have played the topdown GTAs, but never completed them because I was so young in my childhood like age 5.
But Im 16 now.
