I'd have to go with San Andreas because it had my favorite protagonist, it had my favorite weapons, it had my favorite vehicles, CUSTOMIZATION, i liked the story, you felt accomplished at the end, fun side quests, and of course NOSTALGIA.

I liked S.A. and Vice City the most.

Funny how this is the PS3 section and 95% of the people in this thread are listing PS2 games. (even the OP did!) So, you can't really answer with PS1/2 games. I didn't like the PS3 ones as much.

Anyways, might as well go with the trend and answer with the whole series. Favorite is Vice City Stories( I don't know why I just liked it better) and San Andreas of course

San Andreas uptil 5 comes out I think this one will have everything 5 had in it... Lol since there were 3 games on the ps2 and xbox there may need to be 3 on this gen also before its perfect again... but who knows... Im really hoping this one is just like san andreas with better graphics.

Definitely San Andreas as a whole package. I enjoyed the quirky nature of Vice City, and also the more takes-itself-serious tone and narrative of GTA IV, so I'd be interested to see if GTA V could be one glorious intermingling of these three games.
