The speculation is all for good reason. Call of Duty Elite has been confirmed; and it may be a game-changer!

Call of Duty Elite will give you free access to any MW3 map pack. Therefore, it won't just be something you can get for $5. Beachhead Studios is rumoring that you will be able to gain exclusive access, to exclusive content. Currently, they are hinting at 100% custom weapon camos and member-only spec ops levels.

Users can view individual heat maps for every game played, for instance, but each has its own scrollable timeline that can detail both individual and cumulative kills and deaths.

They are aiming to be more functional and also more aesthetically pleasing than Halo's stat tracking program. You will be able to join and create groups; that have their own leaderboards. So, you can compare all of the members in your clan, to see who's slacking. You could also join a group for your region, to see how you compare to local gamers, and possibly meet new people.

Basic statistic tracking and group functionality is provided free for all users. Basically, if Bungie.net does it for free then Call of Duty: Elite will also do it for free.

Subscribers, however, will get access to leagues, tournaments, and competitions alongside fully-fledged clan support

Activision has confirmed that there will be competitions with real prizes, like iPads and Microsoft Points; for the winners.

Call of Duty Elite is aimed at making you a better player, while also keeping you up-to-date. The service will have dedicated applications for your mobile devices, so you don't have to be confined solely to a computer to use it.

The price will make it or break it for most of us, I'm excited to know what it will cost!

The Price is going to be the factor with me. If it's unbelievable and the math does not pull together then screw it. And if they keep cool things away from the non-paying customers with this then they just ruined the call of duty series.... O wait it already got ruined 3 or so years ago. :carling: BF3 is looking pretty nice to me. =D

It looks good, plus I really did like BF2 so I hope it turns out to be really good. I will probably buy Mw3 anyways just because all the "hype" people put to it. We will just have to wait and see I guess. Smile

BF2 was the best. I bought a joystick just to tear it up in the fighter jets and helicopters. I might get both, there's no doubt both will be fun.
