It seems as if this rivalry between the two companies is constantly broadening. Frank Gibeau, EA's President, added more fuel to the already burning fire by attacking the whole idea of Activision's "COD Elite," - a new feature in the upcoming MW3 where players must subscribe to gain access so some online features.

Frank said, "a conscious decision – we do not believe you should charge for social features. Social features attract gamers and create engagement, but if you want to talk about business strategy, it enhances how you monetise content. But I shouldn’t charge you to talk to your friends, or to learn how you did inside the game." Seems like a reasonable statement, and it implies that EA cares more about consumer satisfaction and that they aren't taking advantage of a previously free of charge feature. I'm loving this feud, however. It's getting my hyped for both games and I just might make the switch to EA this year...

Idk if you've played Fight Night Champion, but if you want certain modes or fighters, you have to buy them with real money, kinda sucks. Another game is NFS Shift 2, if you want cars and don't have enough in game credits, they let you buy it through PSN, again, $$ I liked CoD4, it's what I mostly played and still play. Money is the biggest motivator.

You are exactly right. Money, money, money. I still enjoy Call of Duty 4 as well. The connections are bad, it takes awhile to join a lobby, and public lobbies are modded out of control, but I still play it more than all my other games combined.

They are money stealing bitches, although I can assure you it will outsell BF3, as much as we all despise CoD, you'll still buy it to try it.

I also can't believe that they charge you for dedicated servers on the PC.
