My favourite single player games of this generation are Skyrim and Super Mario Galaxy 2, however my favourite multiplayer game of this generation would have to be Halo 3.

Would World of Warcraft count? Even though it failed miserably with Cataclysm it was still the most fun I've had in a game due to the adventures me and my mates got up to.
