Single Player:
Well, from what ive played.. Red Dead Redemption is by far my favourite single player game, no other game has made me feel so emotional about the story. It didnt have as much to do in multiplayer sadly, sure it was fun to run around in a posse with mates and take out gang hideouts but maybe if they added gun shops, let us skin animals and made it similar to the single player, then i might have enjoyed th MP a lot better. Also the DLC (Undead Nightmare) was probably the best DLC i have ever played, it had a awesome and entertaining story to it and eventhough it was a bit of a dodgy ending, it was still really entertaining, whats better than completing cool challenges and even trying to find a unicorn that shi*s rainbow out of its ass. or having a horse that makes zombies heads pop when it touches them. Furthermore, it keeps you playing because once you saved all towns they come back and attack the town again in a few days or so.
I like skyrim as well, so many things to do, which made it my 2nd fav game, but it tends to lag after a while and that was a big negative and spoiled such a entertaining game. I personally think they should bring out Skyrim MP, a seperate disc so it doesnt lag, it would be a TopSeller, if they make it just like the single player but take out the story and sidequests such as Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild, leave the caves for the players to clear, i for one would but it and play on it for months!
For my 3rd which i love. Its Got to be Assassins Creed: Revelations! The story is so awesome. i just cant get enough of running around, climbing buildings and taking out guards. I love planning out my attacks on Borgia Towers while sat on top of a building using Eagle Vision! Its all about your strategy, Patience and Skill! Wait for the Guards to move around, keep an eye on their route and once youve worked them all out just take them out like flies using your blade! The MP is decent as well, it has a few good game modes compared to Brotherhood. Personally i love Team based Steal the Artifact. me and my mates plan out our attacks and strike at the right time but you have to be quick sometimes, especially when they leave 2 or 3 in defence, it can get hard to break down!
FOR MP:
I hate to say this, used to be a big fan of cod 4, 5 and 6 (Modern Warfare, World At War, Modern Warfare 2) but i have to give it to Black Ops. I seem to find it kind of fun. BTW I hate Mw3, got it week after it came out and its just so boring. they said something about creating an Multiplayer Universe (another words, its better than all other past titles) but it has been the poorest title sadly, tbh i dont know why its still in my room and i will be getting rid of it.
2nd place is Red Dead Redemption! its basic free roam and Although it hasnt gone that extra mile in multiplayer, it still is my 2nd favourite MP game and Best free roam MP. Climb mountains and kill gangs, although it isnt anywhere near as good as skyrim in exploring it still is fun to ride around on your horse and ive good a good idea about what the real Old Wild West looked and felt like and John Marston guided me through it, through the story and the Multiplayer.
3rd Place is Tied Between Assassins Creed:Revelations and Grand Theft Auto: IV! MY heart says AC:R but my head says GTA! Assassins creed is fun like i said it was on the SP top 3. But it hasnt got free-roam which it couldve because it is a freeroam SP game. Basic Freeroam MP wouldve been good and thats why GTA is tied with it. It has Free roam that is good but not reached its potential, drive around and kill anyone, sound okay but it hasnt got that much to do on free roam, you get around 7 helicopters thats fun to jump out of to see if you have a funny death and you could add police on but it gives me no sense of achievment. One thing that is really likeable though is cops and crooks or whatever its called, it is a fun game mode along with some of the other team based games. and it has Car racing as well which is cool.
