why would it be their problem if I play ANY other game on ps3 the mic works but it doesn't work for BF3 that in itself should be more than enough common sense that it is not PS3 but BF3

BF3 uses a lot more of the PS3's resources than most games, the game requires the most resources on PC than any other game, i doubt it's be dumbed down that much for PS3, probably for 360.
