During an interview on a livestream with machinima, Blowing hinted at an incredible amount of things. When asked about future DLC he had this to say:

He went on to talk about maps in exotic places like Piazza for example, which tend to be the most fun to develop. Speaking of upcoming maps, Bowling also revealed this:

Let it just be there.
If you remember, it was reported earlier that CoD4 and MW2 map file names were found in Modern Warfare 3. The relieving thing is, if they do come out, the price tag will be a whopping $0.00 !

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Microsoft's deal only affiliated with DLCs? If that's the case, then the nostalgic maps should be released on the same date for both platforms since the maps are "outside the DLC model." At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Sort of got the right idea now bowling that dlc being limited to certain groups is bad thing
Hope this means no more DLC deals but released all at the same time

I believe it when i see it hapen.
Based on what been done so far free dlc means higher dlc sales later on. Turns your product into a service too which is what they are looking to do.
Would like to see some of the older maps added into MW3.
