The turbo has a 4 byte multiplyer and the a single byte boost setting its on slims tut, I use OD this give decent boost I've tryed OF and the turbo lag was terrible, I been fitting high rpm turbo and supercharger and that gives mint boost

Hi chap, quick question... Is there a way to make an NA engine remove the sound/turbo of the receiving engine, mean completely remove it, since that the "donor" engine does sound properly but keeps the turbo of the old one.

Try FF FF FF FF and 00 that's what the non turbo cars have try file comparing a car with a stock one and then one with the part you want to find it takes some time thats y no one wants to share

For working turbos with boost gauge and sound:

The values you need to change are all the red "xx".
Note the length(red box) at the bottom and the distance from the hp multiplier(red circle).
Highlight the "28" right before the hp multiplier and scroll up until you reached the specific length.
The values you need to change are located right before the highlighted part.

Thanks for the heads up K, however in my case, what values would have to be applied to remove it completely since when I'm swapping the turbo engine to NA, the turbo remains with the new engine. Thanks again, and hope that make it clear.[/img]

Hmm, that I'm not sure.

Maybe try switching:

09 to 01

78 90 to 09 1D

12 34 56 to 00 00 00

Or swap the values with ones from a NA car.

Cheers K, will try tonight then hopefully get lucky Smile
Will update any results, thanks again.

Update: Worked!
To replace the values keep track of the length between the turbo values and HP multiplier (28 00 00 64) For the first set, length must be 14B, starting from the offset E980/70 locate the 28 that belongs to the HP multiplier and go upwards till you reach the 14B length (ex offset E830/20). Now replace the next 01 value for 09. Repeat the steps for the length A8 (ex offset E8D0/E0) now replacing 09 D1 for 78 90. Now for the last set, length is 27 (ex offset E960/50) replace 00 00 00 to 12 34 56.

This also worked to make a NA engine, just swap the values to do it. All credit goes to Kevin.
