So... now that 2.12/2.13 are released, I wonder how you can still add the turbo sound to your cars.

When I tried to search I find things like this,

... but they are outdated methods that don't work since update 2.12. I know that most of the part swapping will get reset but somehow it still works, because I got sent a Gallardo that has the turbo gauge, sound (BOV/spool), and shows 'Reset to default' on Turbo in the Settings. All this in 2.13.

The Gallardos where I've put FFs into the turbo line (using garage editor) I got neither of these, just the power increase. I compared the Gallardos I made like this with the Gallardo I got sent, but in the garage editor I couldn't find any part differences. The turbo line on the one I got sent shows FFs just like my own tries, the other parts are normal. So I presume I still need to edit something else outside of garage editor. Can anyone help me and point me towards a solution? I've hex edited cars manually before so I have a little bit experience with it but I'm not into it enough to find out these things myself.

Thanks.

Go here You must login or register to view this content. . Halfway down on page 11 he gives an explaination on how the turbo's work and the "extra" code it produces. There are other posts as well I just can't be bothered to look for em.

Thanks, but that doesn't really help me. It explains where the turbo and boost controller codes are, but the boost controller is one of the things that get reset or messed up since 2.12. So you can only change the turbo code since 2.12. But the turbo code on the Gallardo with proper turbo sound is FFFF FFFF, just the usual method to mod power in 2.12, and as I said, when I apply that turbo code to my other Gallardos I get the power but not the turbo sound.

Also, it seems they haven't found a solution for another issue I have with my modded GT-Rs, their engine sound disappears when you modify the turbo code on cars that come with a default turbo. I haven't found a fix for this. The only other method to modify power I found gives insane amounts of horsepower which you can't drop with upgrades (the turbo mod can be dropped to realistic levels).

I'm still on 2.11 but I'm having trouble trying to supercharge an M3. I want to use the supercharger from a Z06, so I compared the values between a stock Z06 and a supercharged one referencing this image You must login or register to view this content.

but the values were the EXACT same between the supercharged and stock Z06. What did I do wrong? Any help is appreciated

Nvm, figured it out.Bought a stock Z06, compared Hex values to a supercharged Z06 using a text comparison site on google. Found proper offsets and transferred the differing codes onto M3. All is well. Awesome face
