Post: Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI Spec C Type A '05 4WD to RWD issue
03-29-2013, 09:43 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i realized that the car has a driver controller centre differential that can't be changed or uninstalled from brand new.

When i hack the car and put the silvias drivetrain and the rm subarus front and rear lsd to give me the rm subaru suspension. The cars driver controller centre differential is greyed out but says 20 90 or 20 80. Now the car needs to be RWD. But its for a friend who wants the car to be true RWD 0 100. Is this possible. Or is it not possible due to the driver controller centre differential saying 20 80/20 90. Or if anyone just thinks i've missed anything or made an incompatibility please point me in the right direction pleaaaase. I've been working on this foerver and a day.

standard subaru
Front LSD = 0000E8B0 1F E5 00 00 1F AA

change to RM subaru LSD codes

Rear LSD 0000E8B0 1D E7 00 00 21 D9

Because the numbers above give me the subaru RM suspension.

Then i changed the drivetrain of the standard subaru 0B 7D with the silvias 07 14 drivetrain to try and make it RWD.

But when i drive it in practice mode the 4WD via RA functions is unselectable(this is good) and says 0 100. But in the car settings the driver controller centre differential says 20 80??? I didn't purchase the Torque Split either.

SO have i made the car truly 0 100 rwd?? If not How do i remedy this pplease???

00 01 01 00 00
the last two 00's in that line is front and rear downforce settings

that's what i ment by 3 bytes in front of DF, sorry I wasn't clearer.

also
Navy = Suspension
Gold = Front and Rear LSD

Ok this is how it looks now. I changed the cars driver controller centre diff to the torque centre one on this new gamesave.

All highlighted in red basically. Can you confirm I have everything correct to what you have illustrated and told me please.

E8A0 0B F4 (Subaru Rm Chassis), 0A 7F (Blitz Engine), 07 14 (Silvia KS S13 Drivetrain), 1B 4E (Subaru Rm Gearbox)

E910 00 39 00 04 (Rear Wing)

E940 00 Driver Controller Centre Differential?

E960 00 0A 00 1E? Torque Acceleration Front and Rear?

Yeah you got that part right. You don't HAVE to change the front rear initial torque or Acceleration Sensitivity, but it will make it more realistic as far as being RWD. So I say you're good on the part I showed you.

So is the 00 on line E940 the torque centre diff or driver controller 1?

Anyhow i bought the torque centre differential so that means the driver controller centre diff driver must be disabled and not in use??

Yep looks good to me to, But remember tell your friend not to open the settings menu for centre diff or downforce
if they do it will default back to 4wd or add downforce, Of course I only mention DF just in case they want it to stay at 00 00.

it's the centre diff setting
if you changed it to 19 you will have a 25/75 split

It's the driver control center differential. It sets the front end as you can put any value between 00 - 64. And the game automatically fills in the rear based on the value you set the front. Say you put 01 instead of 00.... You would have a 1 ----> 99 driver control center differential.

How does altering downforce affect the torque centre diff? The only thing i changed on here was take the rear wing off?

You're not altering downforce. It was a frame of reference. 00 01 01 00 00. The first 00 is the center diff. The 2nd and 3rd 00 00 are for the front and rear downforce settings.
