As i said in my other post i cannot get 1.3.1 to run, ive got garage editor 1.5 and bruteforce save data with hxd and both of them open fine, can someone please explain in detail how to use garage editor 1.5 and bruteforce in simple terms so i can understand it all, thanks

Once you have done this can you get the paint straight from garage editor or do you have to keep doing the same sequance

you have to do it over and over again.
a other option is to create the paintchip yourself;

The paints working for me alright in HxD even though i swear i heard it wasn't supposed to.

Hi 2 All,

I have a problem and after few attempts to solve it myself i'm stuck badly..


I am trying to have more than 1 paint (matte,flourescents etc..) in paint items.


I did manage to use garage editor 1.3.1 and to add 20 Silver Chrome to my inventory.

Than i saved it and transfered it to a usb stick just to see if i added something (GT Auto)


When i convinced myself that i did that,i quit the game and go back at my pc to use Hex editor but i have a problem..



I can't find silver chrome hex value ( i only have GT5.0)




I am doing something wrong but i can't establish what :S



I'm using GT5 (last update)..



Any help/guidance/tips appreciated

You must search for the 6E6F6E65 088E05 In HEX.

But if you still can't find it, search for the text string "none"(none = 6E6F6E65).

You can of course search for the 088E05 too but that will show you the original Silver Chrome paints aswell.

Hehe,that's the problem and i think that this is where i'm doing something wrong because i can't find anything what you said



This is what i do:


Start HxD - > Open my PS3 savegame (savedata etc..) than ctrl + f and i select hex values and 6E6F6E65 088E05 and it says nothing found.


Also for text string and for 088E05..



Do i have to decode my savegame? (i saw something kinda related to decoding :S but i'm not sure if that's necessary..)
