(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In GT5 we could open a replay file to see if any assist were used, in GT5 we could see the cars set up even.

Can we do something similar in GT6?

I would like to check replay files to confirm no assist used on the lap

Update / found the oil change / found the TCS

TCS was tough because it works in reverse where 1 = 10 and 10 = 1 (but in hex)

I think I found SFR where when on its marked with 0000000000 but when off it has FFFFFFFFF
Not sure on the SRF though think I mixed up replays so got to triple check.

I do get the FFFFFFFF if its nothing or what but doesn't seem to be srf

So still to find is SRF, Active Steering and ASM

Weird thing is I found the oil change in Arcade, but looking for the oil status in the Online GTA Final Round TT RJN GT3 GTR the oil status is NOT there pre or post oil change, Ive got to look deeper

POSSIBLY

On the set that shows settings I see where the mileage and servicing codes (oil, car wash, rigidity etc) are located the mileage code is replaced by a new code CDE0 I wonder if this is a code to keep the mileage zero, oil fresh, chassis rigid, and body clean during TT events where all the wear and tear is turned off, this could explain the cars running "oil change" power in Online TT events.

I got some help and all has been located (they know who they be Winky Winky

To avoid abuse and or hacking getting out of hand power multiplying or doctoring replay files I will follow advice and these details will not be made public.

No worries though as FarSideX is working on a tool to get the info for us without compromising replay integrity.

Plus it will be much easier to use and can be shared so People can check themselves to confirm

I am still thrown off a bit on if the cars are post oil change in events (online TT/senns) but looks as though it may be pre oil change thanks to cleaver testing done by the member helping me (not giving the member name because I dont want them hounded) I still see some possibility of post oil change power so with a butt load of new info I will focus on the GTA event replay to see if anyway to ye or ne oil change power

Regular Free Run & Time Trial replays much easier to analyze. In them car data and assist data appear together, easy to find, and appear once. The Online event and Senna event are different. They have a set of car data showing all default settings for the car and assist. The car data appears multiple times and the one with actual settings used is not the first appearance. The assist data is further away, it also appears multiple times and the one with settings used must be identified.

So Looking through the multiple appearances of the car data the one with settings used are displayed, & looking where mileage and wear codes are located I see a different code CDE0 replacing mileage.

I this this code may turn wear and mileage off and provide post oil change power. I actually think this code may possibly the key.

Okay heres where Im at, got a lil mixed up so started fresh looking exclusively for oil power spec in Online TT and Donor car events like the Senna Time Trials.

I see the mileage and oil codes blank in the RJN and Senna event BUT I see this new code in the RJN and senna run I don't find in Arcade TT or Free Run

Its long and for the most part different, but the 97T and RJN both have an additional code starting with

9C91

I have suspicions this is what I'm after, I just am very unsure

I’m too L33T
The oil change code is convoluted, at least to me it is. I have not put much effort into it since I know where it is and what it looks like before a first oil change and right after an oil change. Beyond that it looks like too much work to focus on given the return on that work. The values do not convert to any of the base measurements used in the code for anything else. Immediately after an oil change it makes sense if it is a floating point number but loses that quality so I do not think it is. It does decrement with use if treated like an int but has huge fluctuations as a float. The decrement is not proportional to mileage, so my guess is it a bit compressed value of many aspects of the oil condition, but that is just a guess based on nothing more than what I have just said, and the fact that that technique is used n other areas of the game.

On another note, I am working on the replay tool again, I had to stop to fix my Battlefield 4 tool after that got updated, and I keep getting sidetracked with other stuff.

I confirmed 9C91 code on X1 Donor Car @ GoodWood event.

& I sent you a PM with pics of the following code (9C91) and offset for it.

I got the 9C91 on my car, I had put my , Nismo GT3 15th anni car through a few races running the GT3 series (10W ATM) and lost some pp, due to dirty oil most likely with just over 200miles on the ODO. Maybe 45 or so done Tuning in Arcade TT, so I figure she had just arrived around 150miles of applicable wear & tear miles.

I restored chassis and engine cuz money ain't a thang, and now 9C91 code is on my 15th Anni GT3.

I then bought a new GT3 and added the engine and chassis restore but did not get the 9C91 code :(

The only difference is my 15th Anni GT3 has just over 200miles on the ODO all but around 45 done in GT3 series races... I'm thinking possibly this was done for getting the event cars at break in + fresh oil power, probably from before cars came at broken in power as in earlier versions of GT6 and GT5 cars came at pre break in power. The cars started being full break in power at purchase a few updates ago.

When racing Arcade TT mileage adds up, but the cars oil and chassis are not effected by those miles at all BUT drive in Free Run or any A-Spec race (I don't know about online) and the miles add wear on oil/chassis/engine requiring a servicing.

I will have to drive a new car for 150-200miles tomorrow then restore the chassis & engine & see if I can repeat getting the 9C91 code added to my car.

Thoughts?

I don't go online, but would like to correctly recreate online events, there has been an element missing, causing variation, in lap testing it "feels" like the events run in a spec car pre oil power is hurting for hp when the post oil change power car mirrors performance. Its been irking me and my gut is telling me there is more to it, its saying "look at the power, it's post oil change, figure out why" and I'm obsessive so here we are lol

Kay when I get done work Ill buy another GT3 and hit the GT3 series to build up 150 racing miles. Once done Ill do a full servicing and see if I will get the 9C91 code again.
