I wanted to let you guys know that GT6 saves are successfully decrpyted.

Thanks to dr1ft3r this is his save data, and was the only user to send me a save. The other thread I posted was just arguing and other stuff and should be ashamed of yourself. You could of made everthing a bit easier.
I would like to thank a good friend of mine aswell.

You shouldn't care what I think, I'm just some ass hole on the interweb, if you want to prove it to me anyways, shut me up and get all my support, PM me the encrypter/decrypter and I'll see it work, eat my words and as you should know by now, its not something I'll release, claim credit for or any of that. I'm the last guy who wants this all public.
Do that and KEEP YOUR WORD on NOT releasing anything before a given date, and I send you as many save games as you like, I'll help in more ways then you could imagine.

So you're going to wait until they shut down the servers like they did for GT5? Just release a Credit tool that's all people want. Fuck hybriding.

Its the first time I've heard you speak of holding off releasing anything until the game has had a longer life. That's refreshing and good to hear.
A team of members to help you could get the tool much further in a short time. A second trusted member with the encrypter/decrypter would be useful (not me nesesarily) somebody who has the game though, as I get the impression you don't have GT6, makes it hard to test if your process works. .
If you do go with a team effort on the project, I'll help as much as I can so long as its for development but not to be released until a set point, last VGT release sounds good, IMO that should be the best time to drop it.

the only bad thing about releasing it after they shut down the servers is that we wont be able to show off our cars with swaps etc. i bought this game to play online with everyone else and just chill. if he gonna wait till the servers are gone, he shouldnt release it at all. everyone on this game w/o a save editor/garage editor, has been fine so far so keeping it from the community doesn't change a thing. i for 1, wouldn't give a shit if u didn't release one because i been doing just fine w/o and im sure the rest of the community has too. tbh, it was kind of a sloppy move to make this thread, then not post any updates or progress whatsoever since then. best thing u can do now is take this shit down and move on.

Releasing it before will just kill your PSN identity. PD will ban you for a paint chip, forget about a simulated engine swap.
My Sim engine swap codes will get you banned in minutes.

oh, well thanks for letting me know. its been long since i had a jailbroken ps3 so i wouldnt have known. still, i think its better if he just scraps this whole thing. sure there are many that would have use for it after the servers have been taken down but then there are others like me who might not even touch the game anymore. when gt5 went dead, i sold my copy fast because there was no need for a dead game that i already finished. one could only hope, PD would put an option to swap in the game. with all these updated they been doing, only thing i find of use the the custom gauges.

all i really care about is a credit adder. even then all i need is to be able to decrypt, i could use a hex editor thats how we did swaps and such before people made the save editors
