Hey guys,
My CFW 4.46ita ps3 has quick console manager, and i regularly check the temperature.
When i use Blackbox etc, yes it does get hot physically but only says roughly 72°C when transferring mods...
When i play for e.g GTA5 idling not moving or anything (ps3 physically is not hot when i touch it) it says it 80°C??? is there a possibility that the heat sensor is incorrect/inaccurate???

Also just to add in, i have a small fan behind ps3 to keep air circulating but still reaches high temps...

Cheers,
Jimmys

Hahaha was thinking the same thing. But I would recommend laying off the mod or you are going to have a much bigger problem on your hand. Also, get a fan on it to cool it down a bit. Lastly, call Customer Support and see if they have an answer but obviously don't mention the modding. Just tell them you have a lot of content on your ps3. Try adjusting your thermal. Hope this helps!
