Just use webman to setup your temp or fan speed and you will be fine. Webman is a good one to have anyways.

Apply thermal paste on top and under the heat spreaders (this requires a steady hand) plus check your room temp aswell.

could be damaged temp chip, could be thermal paste, could need bake.

bake it anyway, change the thermal paste and hope for the best.

How to Prevent it from Happening

1st Method
Find a cool location In your home where you can place and play on your console

2nd Method
Purchase Thermal paste and disassemble your system then after you get to the cpu and gpu place a pea sized drop of paste on it then re-assemble, make sure to get the high quality kind You must login or register to view this content. ( The Overheating message you get could be a warning then ylod)

3rd Method
Purchase an EZchill for you Playstation 3 which is a mod that you connect to your fan to modify the speed You must login or register to view this content.

If you are able to tell us what temp your ps 3 is on the inside (if you have cfw ofcourse)

Ifnot you have to replace the thermal paste, very easy and lots of tutorials/videos on youtube!
