It's most likely YLOD meaning that the RSX chip is damaged... normally occurs when the solder balls are either:

- Touching each other - This occurs when the console is too hot

- Cracked solder balls - This means that it's not making connection with both the PCB and the RSC chip

I believe you have cracked solder balls... you can have it reballed/reflowed or buy a new console. Anyway if you want to know more check out this thread You must login or register to view this content....

It can't be since the colours you indicated to me on the front panel of your console are YLOD...

EDIT: It may be GLOD... but I think you have YLOD. GLOD is Green Light of Death, YLOD is just Yellow followed with the rest.

The LEDs won't change because a port isn't working correctly...

Yes after several seconds which goes from green to yellow and then off to flashing red

get yourself a heatgun and heat up the chips, otherwise find a local computer repair shop and they should be able to take care of it for you
