ive used the PS3 Nor & Nand Auto patcher v0.04 on a 4.46 ! and done it quite a couple of times never got bricked -.-

go ahead and use the 0.04 auto patcher you wont brick when it ask you for an update of 4.46 or higher just installl the rogero downgrader it should work just fine, i do it all the time
