I want to Jailbreak my PS3 and I would like to know the required parts (Hardware, software etc.) that I will need. ( I would like to downgrade and load custom patches and stuff like that )

I have a CECH - 2001B PS3 "Slim"

I've heard of the e3 flasher and heard that is required.

Please reply with required info and other fun/cool ideas that you guys use

What do people mean when they remarry their Blu-ray drives? And what would be a reason why you would have to?

They would do this if their blu-ray stops working and they wanna replace it with another working same model.

All fat ps3 and most slim, the ones before CECH2501a require you to remarry the blu-ray drive.

Why would he be on 2.76? if it is a downgrade service they will put him on 3.55 or 4.41/4.46 rogero, why you say this random version?

He said that because my ps3 model's original firmware was 2.76 out of the box when it first came out, I don't plan to do that though

no downgrade service would ever put the ps3 on the out of the box firmware.

I know, that's exactly why I said I wasn't going to do that. True it would be pointless if a service did downgrade it that low...
