I want to Jailbreak my PS3 and I would like to know the required parts (Hardware, software etc.) that I will need. ( I would like to downgrade and load custom patches and stuff like that )

I have a CECH - 2001B PS3 "Slim"

I've heard of the e3 flasher and heard that is required.

Please reply with required info and other fun/cool ideas that you guys use

Your Ps3 is downgradable. E3 downgrading requires soldering I believe so I'd recommend sending it to a shop maybe on eBay. About $60 for those but it's cheaper then a jailbroken Ps3.

No I do not :/ Sorry. You'd have to risk it. But I'm sure you could look at feedback from eBay shops.

And after I get it downgraded, where do I go from there?

Depends what you want to do. You'll probably be on 2.76 firmware so you'll need to go to 3.55 by using the OFW .PUP. Then go from there.

If you want to RTM on CoD then you'll need DEX. Which you should worry about later!
