Post: E3 Flasher SERIOUS Problem. Can not find fix.
01-04-2014, 10:32 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hello. I have seen many other people post about this problem but can not find a working solution.

i have installed my brand new e3 flasher PROPERLY to my CECH-2001A. I even searched how to properly install using my specific model number and found very useful tutorials..

ANYWAYS. i have updated my E3 Flasher using the Samsung update.bin and was successful with that.

Then for step two. i put all switches down and the third up, to make my first back up.

all lights turn off when i hit start, then after about 15 seconds lights number 1, 5, & 6 start to blink rapidly.

I have searched to find out that this means the clip is not secured 100% but i have checked NUMEROUS times, the clip is on my motherboard perfectly and i used the coin trick to hold it down. Also. the clip on the Flasher itself is very secure, i used tape to hold it down with extra support.

I still get this same issue every single time i attempt something new.

Can anyone help with a solution?

Or can someone possibly give me THEIR back up from the same model number on update version 4.50? (if that is even possible to do I am willing to test!!)

Please someone ANYONE help with my issue, any advice is GREATLY appreciated..

THANK YOU

Take the clip off and put it on properly and tape 2 pound coins with duck tape and that will do the job.

i have been using the coin method. i have tried using one, two, and currenly tree nickles on top held on with scotch tape.. does it need to be duct tape?

You need strong tape to put pressure on the clip like mine.

This allows you to put alot of books on the clip
Please note you need a litte can or something on the clip before you can put the books on the clip
I hope you can try this, and if you can i hope for you it will work, as it did for me!
Good luck with downgrading

No you need your own only if u use someone else's you will break your console. You may have a ripped clip or fake one or your not putting enough pressure or your pins ain't contacting properly. Make a video it will help.

i ordered mine from modchipcentral and everything is real. nothing is damaged, just cam in the mail today lol.

how much pressure is needed about? i see on youtube some pressing down gently and it pops right on but also i just read elsewhere that someone put the leg of a chair on the clip and sat down to finally make it pop on... i would rather not attempt that myself lol. suggestions?

thank you so much.
