I have downloaded the game and placed it on my external hard-drive. After I mount the game it and start it, it loads for a bit and then gives me an error saying "There's a problem with the disc you're using. It may be dirty or damaged" Please help.
I used 4.21+ ill try the 1.01 resigned fix later on
If the previous 1.01 fix i linked & or retail 1.01 patch/update don't resolve it for you, then this may be also worth a shot converting your Duplex (BLES01854) to PSN/digital version. ↴

Np... Yeah correct, most definitely then bad/not full/incomplete download.

This has happened to 4 or 5 people and I just tell them to redownload from another source. That fixes it usually
Did you get this fixed? I have same problem... and I backed it up with the actual retail disc. If you're wondering why I just don't play off it, I am trying to play with my brother and we can't afford two discs.
I was unable to fix it. First time this ever happens. Tried so many things, even converted my console to a dex, since i dont have a working blu ray, to try with the blu ray dummy.
I had the same problem as yours. I had it because I ripped the other languages off and the game can't start installing game data without them. I placed the language files again (I backed them up) and the game loaded just fine.
Hey! well, i fixed also. I've downloaded everything from BLES01933(including PS3_DISC.SFB) (uk version) by antidote, which has only english, but the 2 folders inside data_ps3 and the big files inside data_ps3(like sound.dat etc.). After that, copied the downloaded BLES01933 folder in GAMES folder of the ps3, went into the BLES01854 folder, took the data ps3 with everything in it, but the files already contained in the BLES01933, and passed them into the USRDIR. At this point, starting the hame would give an 8001006 error. Went into multiman and downloaded the update (1.01) for the BLES01933 version. Install the update after download. Go into multiman, set internal and bd mirror and run the game. (nu disc needed) Good luck!
p.s.: This is if you dont want to redownload the game. I have slow internet conection, that is why I went through this. If you can, just do what edrix2004 did.
