(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OKAY... heres what happened, downgrading my ps3 fat and i made 2 good backups i patched on of the backups and flashed it on, turned off the ps3 took out the e3 and put the hdd in as its a fat it was tight for space, so anyway put in the hdd and turned back on the ps3, it was acting like a YLOD and wouldnt turn on, iv looked online at doing the soldering nor tristate to the part on the e3 ribbon cable now before it was working the system would stay on but then when i tried to put the backup on i would get 3 flashing lights, but now i have tried my brand new e3 clip cause mine was a little warn out didnt connect to the nor very will was loose, now it just shuts down with ylod symptom but what i did today is, the e3 wasn't powering up so i got my fingers in and unclipped it and the ps3 turned on but yet still i am bricked please can some one help me :(

Yo can you give me a detailed tut on 2. Do I turn on and off the ps3 between flashing the first backup then mine? Does the wire still have to stay soldered on? My HDD is not plugged in does that really matter? What's the e3downgrade.bin? Please make it a bit more clear so I don't mess up...also i cant use my docking station cause i dont have a esata cable or a fsm dongle ;( guess i cant do it bro :(

Ok,do this for me...
1. Attach the e3 ribbon cable to your nor chip
2. Solder a wire from the tri state point to the sbe point on your ribbon cable ( BECAREFUL NOT TO LIFT THE COPPER SHIMS,SOLDER CAREFULLY )
3. Start assembling the ps3 and then insert the E3 board into the internal hard drive space via the ps3,it should connect perfectly into the ps3 where the hard drive usually plugs into.
4. Finish reassembling console
5. Connect your TF board to the front of the E3 board in the hard drive space.
6. Connect your docking station and cable from the TF board to the docking station, then insert your hard drive in the docking station
7. Have the first switch on the TF board up and the rest down and power on the console
8. Place the backup file provided in the tut into your micro SD card, then place it in the TF board and press start.
9. Once the flash has finished hold your finger on the power button until the console powers down.
10. Remove power cable completely from the console, flick the first switch down on the TF board then re connect it and power on your ps3
11. Console should power on with no graphics display nor hdd/USB Port activity
12. Now flick the first switch up again on the TF board and press start.
13. Once the nor dump finishes flashing DO NOT TURN OF YOUR PS3...
14. Remove the SD card and place the E3downgrade.bin file onto the SD card and then place it back in your TF board.
15. NOW VERY IMPORTANT...press the reset button on the TF board 3 times the flick all the switches down and the last switch up,once you do the button combination press the RESET BUTTON 3 TIMES AGAIN and then press start.
16. Once the E3downgrade.bin installs press and hold down the power button once again until the ps3 powers of.
17. Remove your power cable then re connect it again.
18. Place your factory service dongle into the RIGHT USB port, then press the power button QUICKLY followed by the eject button to enter factory service mode.
19. The console should power down again after about 10-15 seconds which means you are now in factory service mode.
20. Place the " PS3UPDAT.PUP and the LV2.diag " file on the root of your USB and then insert it in the right USB Port on the ps3 and press the power button
21. This step should take around 2-3 minutes, once completed the console will automatically shut down.
22. Place the USB back in your PC and delete all the files, then place the lv2.diag file on the root of your USB again to exit factory service mode
23. Place the USB back into the right USB Port and power on the console, after 20-30 seconds the console will automatically shut down again
24. Remove your USB and power on your ps3 and all should be fine with a successfully Unbricked/downgraded ps3.
Hope this helps as this was all from my head lol

You can buy a docking station with a esata cable and a factory service dongle for around $30-$40,I'm 99.9% if you follow the tut I explain to the letter your console will be Unbricked :-)

Or you can try and proceed with the tut without the docking station
Just do up the step where you flash your working backup to the console
Once it finishes flashing power down the console, remove the power cable, then reinsert it and power on your ps3,let me know what the outcome is :-)

Do what I said earlier, about flashing the provided unbrick file, then by powering of the console then re flashing your verified nor dump ( just go back and read what I stated with this step in the tut I wrote )
After your dump has finished flashing, you can leave the e3 ribbon cable attached and the wire soldered ( it should not function without the remainder of the E3 kit anyways ) assemble your ps3,place your hard drive back in your ps3 and power on the machine, let me know what the outcome is!
If this does work remove your E3 cable from the ps3 and your done :-)
