(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU, I created this thread because I'm curious to see where other modder's ps3 temps are at, and what the overall is average is for the community! Of course this all depends on age, maintenance, model, and the temp of the room but more or less this thread is a good place to share feedback!

I've been in the modding community for quite some time now and now own 2 ps3's.

First one is a ceche01 (fat model) that was purchased in 2008. it has got the ylod 7 times now and normally sits with an hour of use at: 77°C CPU and 37°C RSX.

Second one is a cechg01 (another fat model) that was purchased in 2009. it has got ylod once and sits at an average temp of : 63°C and 55°C RSX.

Both of these run a fan mod and have had the thermal paste changed every 8-9 months with arctic silver 5 and clean them regularly.

Feel free to share some feedback on your ps3's temps!Choco

if i set it to auto 60 deg c , suprisingly it never goes over 60.

however if i leave the cfw default its up to 75 in no time.

sure i can get it down to 40 deg if i want the fan spinning 75%+ all the time.

these questions are going to give a different answer depending on firmware, as ofw runs the fan a little cooler than most cfw's do, yet there are cfw's that run cooler than ofw by default.

Around 75°C then when the fan from webman turns on it turns down to around 60-50 °C
