(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU, I created this thread because I'm curious to see where other modder's ps3 temps are at, and what the overall is average is for the community! Of course this all depends on age, maintenance, model, and the temp of the room but more or less this thread is a good place to share feedback!

I've been in the modding community for quite some time now and now own 2 ps3's.

First one is a ceche01 (fat model) that was purchased in 2008. it has got the ylod 7 times now and normally sits with an hour of use at: 77°C CPU and 37°C RSX.

Second one is a cechg01 (another fat model) that was purchased in 2009. it has got ylod once and sits at an average temp of : 63°C and 55°C RSX.

Both of these run a fan mod and have had the thermal paste changed every 8-9 months with arctic silver 5 and clean them regularly.

Feel free to share some feedback on your ps3's temps!Choco

The PS3 im using now stays around 60°C on the CPU and 55°C on the RSX.. Using PS3ITA Dynamic fan control and new paste.. upgraded the stock 13 blade fan to a 19 blade fan too. The new fan without changing anything else took off around 3°-5°C on both chips

I'm using a PS3 Slim and the RSX and CPU temperatures are usually at 65-70 C. I use webMAN mod to control fan speed.

Mine never goes above 45 C and I use webman to control since Rogero isn't supporting Ps3Ita.

Slim 62 C cell 55 and RSX on idle.
Add about 5 on each whilst playing and default settings with no fan controls.
I recently added some new thermal paste and that dropped temps by 12 C.
