(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU, I just got my e3 flasher and its been a pain in the ass ever since I first powered the ps3 on.
When I first turn the ps3 on the LEDS are alternating
2.4.6.8
To
1.3.5.7

When I press start I get
1.5.6 start blinking

The SD card is in the flasher
The clip is secured onto the motherboard
And the ps3 is a CECHL01
Please help

Did you flash the E3 flasher with either the Samsung update or the 10-28-11 update... also 1, 5, 6 means there the legs are not making contacting with the chip... do you have a clamp of some sort... however, as you stated you have CECHLxx therefore this is a fat and a clamp isn't going to be easy to use. So do you have a heavy object... another method is applying pressure with your thumb

Thanks for the comment man, and I pushed the e3 on and applied some electric tape. And I added the update.bin to the SD card before I tried it.

If the flasher didnt accept the update the update file would of still been on the sd card.

I use a plastic G clamp, and tighten it fairly tight, so it leaves a mark on the foam bit

Try to update it again

Normally 80% of the time it's to do with the clip... since the clip leg's are not making contact with the Nor chip on the mother board... 1, 5, 6 is the error for the clip... you must make sure that the clip is securely in place... I do hoe that you have not damaged the clip leg's since if one is damaged it's over. You can check if it's damaged if the legs are bent...

No problem... also another tip you should take in mind is to clean your clip with rubbing alcohol after multiple uses...
