I bought a new cid code i think thats what they call it what is this ipds

I bought one how do i change the cid (ipds)

There are many methods of changing this... you can use CCAPI, PSNPATCH...

For CCAPI:

Step 1: Connect both your PC and your PS3 with CCPAI

Step 2: Where it says "IDPS" enter your new CID... it will need to be 32 characters long. Once you entered your new CID, click set IDPS


For PSNPATCH:

Step 1: Create a .txt document

Step 2: Inside the .txt write idps= write your 32 character long IDPS here

Strep 3: Save the .txt as psnpatch.cfg

Step 4: Put psnpatch.cfg on the root of your USB...

Step 5: Plug the USB into your PS3 then run PSNPATCH

Step 6: Once PSNPATCH is running click "Square" on your controller and click "X"

CCAPI would be the easier option i would go with that

not sure just becasue there can be a lot of scamming and illegitimate ways to get the cids, and this isnt what ngu strives for

Most likely because people can double sell the IDPS(CID) to people and cause problems and also there are a lot of places which sell CIDs...
