So, I am trying to do a recovery for a friend, and I can't login to his account, because it's throwing out this random message. No error code. Anyone know a fix?

Have you changed your IDPS in Rebug Toolbox (if you're on Rebug) ?

Not recently.

I mean your active IDPS, my bad.

Rebug Toolbox -> Utilities -> Change Active PS3ID

It's set as "No". This same thing is happening to someone in the serendipity chat.

Had this issue before. Are you disabling your CFW syscalls by any chance (Webman or PSNinja or whatever it's called)?

If you disable the CFW before changing the IDPS in Rebug Toolbox, the option will be on "No" and you won't be able to change it (it'll give an error about unsupported FW or something like that).

I remember disabling syscalls. I actually don't know how to re-enable them but it still isn't giving me a message. Should I try selecting DEX like it usually is?

If you disable them manually (by using Webman button combo or PSNinja (or whatever the name is), a simple reboot re-enables them. If they are disabled automatically, check Webman settings (If you're using Webman), i know there's an option there to disable syscalls at startup. Just unselect it and reboot.

Yep, just put them like that, then reboot, change Active PS3ID and then disable syscalls manually and you should be good to go.
