Post: PS3 HDD Swap

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So , it has been months since i booted up PS3 . i changed its HDD because it was lost ( cant remember which CFW it was on ) well . now every CFW ( even 3.55 ofw ) i try to install . ends up with The data is corrupted ( 8002F2C5 ) i tried downgraders . rebugs . and stuff . its not working at all . its not even going into FSM Mode .

weird . it says no applicable data was found . this is on another flash drive . its FAT 32 . PS3 -> UPDATE -> PS3UPDAT.PUP . hmm . something ? im sure i tried it before and it spit out an error code

Also . im sure i was jailbroken . unless somehow i got un-jailbroken . by changing HDDs

weird , my 8gb flash isnt getting recognized by the ps3 . but my 4gb is ... they are both FAT32 .. hmm .. .

Im sure you are still jailbroken. Changing the hdd alone would not unjailbreak it. Just keep running through the basics and rule everything you can out. Some of my flash drives do the same shit to me with update currupt n stuff, but i usually just mess with it and it goes through. I'm tellin ya its gotta be something stupid, but I am unsure at this point without it in front of me. GL bro.

Okay ! , now when i tried to install ps3ita . it gave me 8002F2B5 . i know it isnt something to be excited for . but to be honest i dont know what it means.

ok i tried another HDD . its the same issue :( , i think im somehow un-jailbroken .

OK . IT Was the USB all along ! . i tried a fat 32 partition on my External USB HDD and it worked ! it worked ! its installing now Thanks alot DRObythePoUnD
