Save Point
i would format hdd and try to reinstall cfw or if you have extra sata hdd format it and install in your ps3 then install cfw again if it works it wont need flashed with e3 nor flasher. try removing hdd and boot it up too storage not found the ps3 should stay on if not its the nor will have to solder wire from SBE to tristate OR tristate to GND. If ps3 stay on then flash original backup dump.

You shouldnt need to reflash it...

probably you just need to reformat the hdd or it is possibly (coincidentally) damaged.

go to recovery mode and try "restore ps3 system"
if it can't format, try another known working hdd.

Hmm quite strange how this would cause a brick, what does it do when you turn it on. black screen? maybe deleted files you wasnt meant too

Try another HDD like dro said, make sure you're trying to install the same firmware it was on previously

If that doesnt work have you got valid dumps of that console? if you have patch it, connect e3 and reflash (1st switch up + rest down)

So Ok The recovery menu allows me to go On it but when i click this option my console freezes.
And when i click rebuild data base is just keeps saying preparing please wait.
I think its becuase i litterally have no font on my ps3 when i boot it up normally it goes to blue to black scren and i hold down my ps3 but then the turn off controloer menu pops up but i dont see any words........

If i get another hdd Does it have to be from the same model number? And same ps3 syle system

No you'll only lose the data on your hdd.

I've never customized fonts so idk

make sure you're trying to install the same cfw you was on previously if you swap hdd

Well i Originally did not flash this system i got it from a pawn shop with a cfw on there.
so i cant do the sata thing. So the best thing gor me to do is get a new hdd and reinstall my cfw Right?

Hmm ok

So if the font was deleted off sysytem, getting a new hdd would have the defualt fonts fro ps3 already on there?

Now I went on recovery menu and when i click some options i freeze, is that a ps3 problem or that just becuase my hdd is fuked.
