Post: Need help Jailbreaking

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU, I've recently got me a OFW 3.55 firmware PS3 and I tried to download Rebug 4.80.1 D-rex firmware, but I seem to get an error which is (80029CCA) which states that the data is corrupted.

I made a folder name PS3, then inside that folder I made another one named UPDATE, then I put in the 4.80.1 D rex firmrare in the UPDATE folder, and rename the file to PSUPDAT.PUP

Thanks for the help and support!

Check and make sure the usb is formated to FAT32 and double check your update folder and all the contents are named accordingly. Also redownload the cfw as it's possible it could have been corrupted during download. Once all that is done try installing cfw again.

Nope. Just do everything as I have said and see what plays out. If it's still not solved after that then just quote me back.

Ask as many questions as you feel necessary. Better safe then sorry we all start somewhere. I can't tell you how much I had staff help me when I was a rookie.
