No the 7200's work and Do load faster but its BARELY noticeable.

I have a 7200 RPM and its not really noticeably faster at all loading. Maybe a second or so but like i said not really noticeable.

Its just some drives you CANT get in a 5200. Like the Seagate drive I ordered is only available in 7200. It generates more heat but that can be fixed.

Well for the money , your safest bet is this HDD.Its cheaper than buying to 250Gb hard drives and I'm sure the extra space will come in handy.
