(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, i am IrieRelic, i have been using ps3 for about 2 months now and i've decided to research the jailbreak. i've seen everything read everything recent, didnt dig the archive's. but wanted to find out...

we have the software and technology to do whatever we want, hell we can emulate the hardware to make ps2 run on pc, why isnt there a ps3 jailbreak you can run from your pc while USBED into the ps3? i have usb on my desktop i have usb on the ps3 why cant i use my pc's microprocesser? i bet you it has the power.

But what your PC doesn't have is the ability to put itself in HOST usb mode.

Then prove us ALL wrong hotshot. And do it with the USB on the motherboard. Using an addon card would be cheating.

I know some computers that can do this.
But they're custom built, and pretty expensive :/

I Should probably just find a TI-84 lol.

im not saying im capable of doing it, but they have software to run virtual machine's software to run emulated ps2 hardware, why cant anyone make a usb host emulator?

why would it be impossible? i mean my motherboard has 8 usb and 2 usb 3.0 slots, it has to have a usb host, so why wouldnt it work? lets get some devs input,

I was wondering the same thing yesterday. I figured it would be easy to do the hack using a PC. I guess not. Well, if anyone hears of it happening be sure to post it so that all of us uneducated, non smartphone/TI-84 owners can get in on this.

Dude shiver is like the smartest guy on this forum. He knows what hes talking about. If he says it can't be done it most likely cant be done.

Or CAN it?....It's in interesting question. And please say, "Yes, yes it can be done". Thanks. :derp:

What about if you used the serial port on your computer and made a program that does all the stuff you need and buy a serial to USB cable, I think that would work if someone has already made the USB protocol available then that would be most of the hardwork done.
