we have the software and technology to do whatever we want, hell we can emulate the hardware to make ps2 run on pc, why isnt there a ps3 jailbreak you can run from your pc while USBED into the ps3? i have usb on my desktop i have usb on the ps3 why cant i use my pc's microprocesser? i bet you it has the power.

i gotta agree with you on that with todays technology im sure someone can program a computer todo this.

Really, I have heard it all from the teens here, So far I have met MIT computer engineers, etc etc, now a 26 year old computer tech who can not understand the Capability of most usb ports on most Pcs.

i have a virtual box application on my computer, which emulates fake usb shit, in a fake computer, which means my computer emulates a USB HOST you all have to be ****ing morons if you dont get it. i dont know how to do it i dont know what to do, but someone has to be able to figure it out, if virtual box can emulate a fake usb system for my virtual windows or linux install then why cant you figure out how to make a USB Host ONLY emulator?

PLZ keep in mind, when i say why cant you i am not refering to YOU im reffering to the world, if someone can figure out how to make a motherboard then someone can figure this out, im not saying its easy, im just saying why cant we get people dedicated to trying to find this option? god knows if i could, i would then we would have a free ps3jailbreak, COMPLETELY free, from comp to ps3

i might be wrong but the psjail break is a usb slave device, so usb 2 pc 2 ps3 would not work cause thay are both host devices, that would be like connecting an imput to an imput that is why people are porting ps3 groove to devices that are SLAVE usb's, HOST 2 HOST WILL NOT WORK!!!!

USB 1.0 cannot be put into usb on the fly, (or host mod)
USB 2.0 MOST MOTHERBOARDS can be put into usb host or usb on the fly.

USB 3.0 (which is on my motherboard) works perfect


HOWEVER you would have to take 2 usb cables and cut'em / re-wire them to make it work how you would need it to.. hey i have 10 usb cables doing nothing

so i have offically found a NO CoST solution for PC 2 ps3 jailbreaking....

sorry for those of you who said it CANT be done, now we need to figure out the perfect way to do it.. i could install ARM Linux on my iq sound mp3 player and use it to jail break my ps3 or i could install linux in a virtual box and use it to hack my system, VIA COMPUTER...

obviously no one realizes that if you can do this on a phone in a linux os, you can do it on a pc, because pcs can do MORE THEN CELL PHONE/s CALCULATORES ETC..
