we have the software and technology to do whatever we want, hell we can emulate the hardware to make ps2 run on pc, why isnt there a ps3 jailbreak you can run from your pc while USBED into the ps3? i have usb on my desktop i have usb on the ps3 why cant i use my pc's microprocesser? i bet you it has the power.

It could work but were would we find a USB to USB cable

ok lemme clear one thing up, it is, with out a doubt IMPOSSIBLE to do this pc to ps3 jailbreak.... IN WINDOWS... however it will be do able in a linux operating system.. we are currently working on how to do this but right now i cannot find the information we are looking for to move forward.. once i have this working a confirmed working, i will test it for 3 months on 3 ps3's and if it continue's to remain working i will start accepting more testers with a detailed tutorial on installing a virtual box linux machine and what to do .. it is in the works if anyone is willing to lend a hand then plz, plz plz we could use help....

TC has NO idea how hardware works.

i think it might be possible, But both PS3 and PC Host USB they don't actually do what the usb port for jailbreak do, but hey it isn't impossible, but tbh i think it would be better just to pay the 22$ for a teensy rather then waste time making this happen.


Well the plus could be that if you make the PC into a Jailbreak device hacking could be easier cause you might be able to have access to the PS3 as it runs in game and ect. idk what advantages that could be but it could be something right?

well if you have to cut them up and all, anyway you will still need to buy USB cords (other people) which are cheap anyway like 5 bucks or something.

Also the PS3 doesn't support USB 3 i think
and also you said you will need to cut the cords up and stuff, that would be just idk what to call it modding the cords (idk) i guess what soem are hoping for is just a quick program download and connect.

and the reason i believe it works on all these crazu device is because they have a special board inside, which idk are found on most computers, but yeah you would expect it to work since yes PC can do a lot more.

Actually you are correct, This is where the problem lies with making a PsJailbreak with your Pc. However I believe you would need extra hardware to make your Pc capable of jail breaking, thats why everyone is just using devices that are slave, and have the necessary micro controller.


I want to clear this up first things first,
I am sorry that if I, in any way have offended you. I have just heard everything from people here its hard to believe some people.

Now in my personal opinion I do not think anything is impossible, but I think what you are chasing is very unlikely. I am no real coder/hacker/computer tech I just have a simple understanding of stuff.

Now that this is out of the way, I will give you my 2 cents,

If what you say is correct I would not even use linux, I would use the Android Os, Since they have already ported it to the Anroid, You would need to change some stuff, but It would be alot easier than starting from scratch.
