Post: PS3 Data Transfer from your Computer

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is it possible to link your computer to your PS3 using the Data Tansfer method and trick your PS3 to make it think your computer is a PS3. This way you should be able to transfer over the patches without a jailbreak.

I know that's not possible, I mean someone sets up an online ftp server, u simply log onto that link on the PS3 and can use an ftp client on your PC, it's like the jailbreak, except only an ftp server we can use from the web browser

i just hate how everyone says a good idea (i think they are post boosting)
anyway you cant do that unless
1, your PC have a Ps3 OS
2, you have a OtherOS Ps3 w/ Linux and a PC with the same linux and somehow linked them idk how to do that lol
3. you do the data transfer to another ps3 w/ another HDD (2 ps3's 3 HDD's) then running the HDD on the PC via sata cable
