Its a different thing all together with the jailbreaks, because its just a name to get known really. So I dont think this will work, nice idea though.

Don't think it would work, but you could maybe use it as a substitute of a PS3. You need the Jalibreak to run the unsigned PKGs (aka the hacked Modern Warfare 2 patches).

I've been thinking about this one but in a slightly different way.

This is what is needed to try this test:-

2 x PS3 (At least one must be 3.41 Jailbroken)

1 x Computer with two physical network cards.

Setup the 3.41 console with a modded MW2 patch.

Connect Lan to PS3 (3.41) and connect to Computer Lan port 1.
Connect Lan to second PS3 and connect to Computer Lan port 2.

Bridge the connection on Computer so that PS3's can communicate with one another.

Setup packet capture software on Computer.

Run PS3 Transfer Utility to transfer data from PS3 (3.41) to second PS3 while capturing the packets on the computer.

In theory this should give us a packet dump that could be replayed direct from a computer packet capture program to an unmodified PS3. The dump could be uploaded and played direct anyone's PS3 without Jailbreak or a specific Firmware version.

Flame me if I'm way off or I forgot something but that's my train of thought at the moment, my 3.41 YLOD'd so I can't test the theory.
