The Mega Ps3 Hack Theory Thread![/color]


In this thread you can post all of your thoughts and theorys on hacking the Ps3. This can include like Downgrading your Ps3 firmware, or even how to delete it. How to Jail Break your Ps3 on Firmware 3.50. Or even new ways to edit patches and or making them from your self. This is for you guys to discuss and put together Idea's you think might work and or might help things out. Well let the Discussion Begin :y:

Any threads made regarding things like this will be closed and or merged into this thread. Also if you think your theory is great and you know it's new. When Posting please post your theory in the title so you don't post the same theory somebody has already posted. Remember keep it clean and follow the forum rules while posting. Hopefully this helps everyone and makes life a lot easier for all involved.

i edited the ps3update.pup for 3.41 in hexworkshop to make it say firmware 3.50 but it says its corrupt when i try to install it :mad:

I don't think you can. What we need is a way to re-encrypt the 3.41 update after it has been edited to look like 3.50. Ideas?

Couldn't you use a ps3 emulator running 3.41 to install custom patches? Are there any PS3 emulators out there?
