1. First you need to have a DEMO (Package has to be signed, so Homebrew won't work -- you won't be able to run it once you update or transfer) You can use Hermes v4 to install retail pkgs.

2. Next run your preferred FTP server on your PS3 and connect. Find the PARAM.SFO file in the following directory:
/dev_hdd0/game/<Content-ID>/

3. Use one of the many SFO Editors found online. All you have to do is change the name to what you want it to be.

Worked for me.. I would be happy to make a tutorial but I don't got a pc recorder however i got a hd pvr.. plus im lazy so sorry. but its possible to get it to work with the tutorial given at the first post.

I would like 2 but I haven't got a program that allows me to record my PC.

Its not that hard, just follow the instructions. Im sure some1 will post a tutorial faster then me when i start now lol.

This is what i do and it dosent work, I have a demo on my JB ps3 (Echochrome demo) then i go into ftp and from my computer i go into /Dev_hdd0/game/NPUA80134(Echochrome)/PARAM.SFO and I edit it using PS3SFO editor V0.80 and then change it, save it and then data transfer my ps3 and it still comes up saying EchochromeDEMO

I will make a more detailed tutorial later. Maybe with a vid.

try another demo. you can check if you've done it right on your jb ps3. When you've editted it and put it back on your ps3. play your demo and end the game, then check if the title has changed. if it did change you've done it right and are ready to transfer.
