1. First you need to have a DEMO (Package has to be signed, so Homebrew won't work -- you won't be able to run it once you update or transfer) You can use Hermes v4 to install retail pkgs.

2. Next run your preferred FTP server on your PS3 and connect. Find the PARAM.SFO file in the following directory:
/dev_hdd0/game/<Content-ID>/

3. Use one of the many SFO Editors found online. All you have to do is change the name to what you want it to be.

I made it say halo 3 : Slayer on The Pit and the game says Halo 3. Did i do it right?

Lol you've done it almost right. Did you put ® or the trademark sign in it? because the title has to be complete. not just Halo 3. also the things you'd put after that. but at first i did "modern warfare(trademark sign) 3: beta blahblahblah" but it showed up as modern warfare. so i deleted the trademark sign and it worked.

Nah look, the trademark sign or ® doesn't work with that editor you have. You have to delete the trademark sign otherwise the title wont show up completely.
